The enclosed profile will furnish you with details concerning my education,
training, experience, and capabilities, which I believe may be utilized to
enhance the functions of your operations. My experience has included
positions as a Sr. Relay Tech for a Fortune 500 Company, Performance
Auditor II with the Louisiana Office of Legislative Auditors, General
Manager/Sales Engineer for a dry and liquid container manufacturer,
Performance Auditor I/Auditor Intern with the Louisiana Office of
Legislative Auditors. I possess a Master of Public Administration and a
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology. My experience in protective
relaying consist of the following:
Over the past 9 years I have been augmenting and revitalizing my
understanding of Entergy's electrical transmission and distribution
protection system. I have designed, installed, and provided maintenance on
relay protection for low voltage and high voltage panels in a substation
environment (13.5kv-500kv). I have commissioned the completion of several
panel and circuit breaker (i.e., low/high voltage) installations. I have
also commissioned auxiliary equipment (i.e. voltage transformers, current
transformers, power line carrier, and "SCADA" sets). I have calibrated the
following Electromechanical relays: KD-41, SGT, KC-4, CO, CA, IRP, IRQ,
PVD. I have also calibrated the following Microprocessor relays via
Protest and SEL-5010 software: Quadramho, Optimho, MDAR, (SEL-221F, 311C,
321, 387, and 421). I have primarily worked with Doble test sets for
calibration (2200, 2350, and the 6200 series). I am very proficient with
Signal Crafter (Model 60, 70, as well as its Impedance meter) for testing
power line carrier and line traps. I have experience in the following
relay schemes: Bus protection, Transformer protection, Line protection,
Line Current Differential, High Speed Carrier protection, and feeder
protection.
I would be pleased to meet with you to discuss your needs and objectives
and how may be of service to you.
Sincerely,
Tyrone Reine
