(The company deals with the production of Steel wire mesh, Aluminiun
extrusion profiles, Anodizing aluminium profiles. ll and aluminium
fabrication. The company has 2000 MT Baldwin extrusion press)
Significant Highlights:
* Deftly handled extrusion operations for various products viz.
construction, furniture, transportation, agricultural, solar heater, heat
sinks profiles, having 3500 dies in various types of extrusion profiles.
* Handled small aluminium extruded profile fabrication unit .
* Some of the dies which was difficult to extrude was extruded well by
doing correction in die and monitoring adequate temperature.
* Marked reduction in anodizing process time by manipulating the bath
concentration and process thus increasing the production.
* Key role in identifying and correcting problem pertaining to ageing
parameter which was not up to the mark and from various places heat was
lost, thus leading to poor hardness.
* Identified & resolved the problems pertaining to anodizing plant which
was not running due to the poor quality produced.

Significant Highlights:
* Responsible for three press operation, three melting furnace in foundry
and two die shop producing nearly 60 dies a month.
* Handled more then 170 staff personnel.
* Handled extrusion operations for various products viz. construction,
furniture, transportation, agricultural, solar heater, heat sinks
profiles, having 1500 dies in various types of extrusion profiles.
* In absence of the foundry in charge taken the responsibility of alloy
making and process control.
* Monitoring of stores inventory control, budget allocation for
maintenance.
* Billet heater which was not designed properly leading to lowering of
production and frequent breakdown, was modified by me, resolving the
problem.
* Billet charger was not in existence, installed to ease the operation and
saving time.
* Deftly made a water quenching system for special grade alloy and hardness
& improved the air quenching system to increase the hardness of the
extruded profile.
* Key role in constructing a machine used for extraction of aluminium metal
from the dross in foundry department. By using the machine 20 to 35% of
the aluminium is recovered from the dross.
