Special actuarial valuation included: conducting due diligence work for
potential client acquisition/spin-off estimate cost, and experience
studies. Performed average benefit test and nondiscrimination test, cost
estimates for union negotiation, ad hoc or benefit improvements estimate
cost. Reviewed clients' data necessary for PBGC audit, valuated special
termination benefits, amendments and law changes, and calculated monthly
benefit amounts. Developed benefit illustration and financial impacts for
cash balance design project and 3121(v) calculation and accrued benefit
for 420 assets transfers.
. Consolidated up to 50 pension plans into two within a 3 month
timeframe, which improved the accuracy of the plans, reduced the time
on spent on reviewing the plans and improved company's profit margins.
. Developed a unique employee benefit statement program that enabled a
major client to communicate important benefit information to employees
in a spin off situation within a three-week verses three-month
timeframe.
. Created and maintained a benefit calculation module for multiple
pension plans for a major U.S. corporation which was later
incorporated into Pension Service Center System and was used calculate
all employee benefits for all new and existing corporate clients.
Actuarial / Benefits Consulting projects included:
. Since October 2008 extensively involved in conversion of all Aon clients
AonVal valuation system Pension and OPEB programs into PROVAL valuation
system.
. Since 2003 involved in modeling both the asset and liability aspects of
funding policy studies. Extensive experience with the PROVAL model as
used in the valuation and forecasting (stochastic and deterministic) of a
broad range of retirement plan types and designs. Responsibilities
included extensive client instruction, assistance and on site
interaction.

. Performed experience studies, derivation of actuarial and asset class
return assumptions from historical demographic and economic data for
several large clients. Responsibilities included guidance and
supervision of junior staff as well as hands on work.

reforms of a total remuneration structure.
. Designed, maintained and completed periodic enhancement / updating of
