I assembled claims for large petroleum companies so they could be reimbursed funds from the state for
environmental clean up, utilizing State of California regulations and guidelines. I gathered geological and
analytical reports along with invoices and any other supporting documentation. I reviewed and analyzed each
invoice and matched them to a corresponding report. I wrote a narrative for each invoice and report to explain
there meaning. I created a spreadsheet with all financial information and submitted the claims to the State of
California for reimbursement.
Modern Maintenance, May 2005 to Dec. 2005
Receptionist/OfficeAssistant
As the Receptionist, I answered phones, greeted visitors and clients, accepted application, performed the
initial application interview, verified social security numbers, employment history and criminal background
checks. I was responsible for maintaining personnel records, tracking attendance, vacation and sick time and
hours worked. As the only Administrative Assistant I also supported a group of zone managers, prepared
daily reports for staff meetings and performed all required clerical duties.
American Medical Response, August 2004 to May 2005
Emergency Medical Dispatcher
I was an Emergency Medical Dispatcher for two major metropolitan areas. I answered emergency 911
medical calls and had daily contact with patients, family members and with the public, that required excellent
customer service skills. When taking emergency calls you are performing a very quick, effecient and stressful
interview under very tight time constraints. I also worked with local fire and police to coordinate emergency
efforts between agencies.

Buyer/Quality Assurance/Administrative Support
As a Buyer I was responsible for all phases of procurement of certain goods and services. Placing orders,
entering my PO's into a data base, tracking them from conception to closing and interfacing with suppliers.I
was responsible for MRB, processing material back to suppliers for repair and managed a small stockroom. I
started and developed a receiving inspection department, trained all personnel, scheduled employees for their
daily assignments. The department consisted of two groups, one group worked in-house performing various
inspection tasks and a second performed source inspection and audits at supplier sites. I processed
manufacturing and quality reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to track our supplier's quality and
performance. I worked as a liasion between our suppliers and engineers to resolve assembly and
documentation issues to ensure we received a quality product. I acted as Administrative Support for a group
of quality engineers, performing various needs as required.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Porficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle, On-line Porcurement.
PERSONAL INTERESTS: I am involved in short term mission strips. In the summer 2008, I traveled to the
Ukraine to volunteer at a camp for disabled kids for two weeks. I hope in the future to utilize my vacation
time in the same way, traveling around the world helping and working with kids.
