Project Engineer / Catalyst Scale-up Group Operations Lead

Manage operations and capital projects as consultant for global single-

source provider of high-value engineering solutions to Fortune 1000

customers. Direct teams in data acquisition and control systems to promote

research operations of vital importance to global chemical, petrochemical

and petroleum sectors. Served as Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) technical

consultant for revalidation team and as HSE Steering Team member to

represent resident contractors during implementation process of site goals.

Key Projects & Achievements:

. Led project team to relocate laboratory operations of Equistar

Chemicals, licensee of Lummus Novolen Technology GmbH, from U.S. to

Germany. Coordinated all phases of multi-staged equipment

decommissioning, shipping and commissioning, as well as managed new

operator training. Modified equipment to meet mandatory European CE

requirements.

. Spearheaded laboratory polypropylene autoclave provision to licensee

in South Africa. Developed technical proposal and final design

documentation. Played key role in packaging unit procurement, assembly

and pre/post-shipment testing and training.

. Drove improvements for TREF- throughput and performance by expertly

implementing LabView-based data acquisition and control system to

transform multi-vendor/multiple operator interface into one PC-based
