Pensacola, Florida 32503

I have 40 years of process engineering and engineering management

experience. I progressed into engineering management after eight years of

process and production engineering.

I recently retired from Taminco Methylamines as the sight Engineering

Manager in January 2009 following a re-organization that eliminated my

position. As Engineering Manager I was accountable for process engineering,

project engineering, environmental compliance, analytical support for

amines/ammonia/methanol/nitric acid/ammonium nitrate production, security

and quality control.

My objective is to continue work as a process or project engineer in the

Pensacola area.

WORK HISTORY:

September, 2006-Jan., 2009: Taminco Methylamines, Pace, Florida

Taminco acquired the Pace Methylamines Plant from Air Products and

Chemicals in September 2006. I was employed by Taminco as the sight

Engineering Manager accountable for process/project engineering, quality

control, analytical support, environmental compliance and security. The

Laboratory Supervisor, Quality/Training Coordinator, Environmental

Specialist and Project Design Supervisor reported to me.

August 1999 - September 2006: Air Products and Chemicals, Pace, Florida

I held the position of Technical Manager for the second time, accountable

for process engineering and analytical support for a 200 million pounds per

year methylamine facility, 50 million pounds per year higher amines plant,

500 tons per day methanol plant, 375 tons per day ammonia, 1000 tons per

day nitric acid facility and 800 tons per day ammonium nitrate plant. Our

department was responsible for productivity improvement studies and

projects, new product development, on-sight analytical support and capital

project execution.

January 1990 - August 1999: Air Products and Chemicals, Pace, Florida

I accepted a position with the corporate process engineering group as a

resident Principal Process Engineer at the Pace, Florida facility. My

responsibilities included new product development, lead process engineer on

major capital projects, scope conceptualization and execution of

productivity improvement ideas. Noteworthy accomplishments included the

introduction of 4 new products and an assignment as the Lead Process

Engineer over a $35 MM, stand alone, 100 MM PPY methylamine plant. This

project was completed $3MM under budget and 4 months ahead of schedule,

thus becoming a benchmark project for capital project execution within Air

Products.

March 1985 - January 1990: Air Products and Chemical, Pace, Florida

I completed my first tour as Technical Manger of the Air Products

manufacturing facility in Pace, Florida. My department was accountable for

process and project engineering, and analytical support for the manufacture

of 100 million pounds per year methylamines, 47 million pounds per year of

higher amines, 500 tons per day methanol, 375 tons per day ammonia, 1000

tons per day nitric acid, and 800 tons per day ammonium nitrate.

October 1982 - March 1985: Air Products and Chemicals, Pace,

I was a Section Supervisor accountable for the process engineering support

for the methylamines and higher amines production facilities. I had five

process engineers reporting to me.

higher amine production facility

. Developed concept and scope to recover exothermic heat of reaction to

pre-heat and partially vaporize reactor feeds to reduce steam

consumption

reactor feed stream thereby reducing steam consumption by 4 MMBTU/Hr.

. Developed an $8 MM scope to expand existing methylamines production by

12 million pounds per year

. Designed a process to produce 50,000 metric tons per year of

alkylalkanolamines from the reaction of ethylene oxide and

methylamines in idle higher amine production facility

. Designed a process to produce 12000 metric tons per year of

dimethylaminopropylamine from dimethylamine, acrylonitrile and
