Responsible for managing the environmental, health, and safety

programs of a 60 million gallon per year ethanol production facility.

Providing leadership and support to management in achieving

departmental EHS goals through the following activities. Implement

site specific environmental, health and safety programs designed to

meet federal, state, local and POET requirements. Routinely conduct

audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Federal, State, local

and POET EHS requirements.

Responsibilities include Sara Tier II, FESOP, EIA 819, and NPDES

reporting. Experience in coordinating and administering annual

certifications for Electrical Safety, Lockout/Tag out, Contractor

Safety, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Confined Space

Entry and Rescue, Fall Protection, Powered Industrial Vehicles,

Machine Guarding, Personal protective Equipment, Safety Management,

Manage the Tier 1 Ford/Visteon Contract. Routinely conduct financial

analysis. Plan, execute and manage procurement, P&L, internal budgeting and

forecasting to ensure the expectations of both parties are met. Provide

cross-functional team training, coaching, and mentoring, new product

rollouts, key commodity account management, customer relationship

development, contract negotiations, and order fulfillment. Design,

implement, and adjust various sales plans and programs for maximum margin

Competitive Chemical - Chillicothe, OH

Oversee chemical, environmental health and safety functions contract of a

tier 1 automotive supplier, Plastech Engineered Products. Direct and

maintain the facilities Environmental Management Services. Direct process

control objectives. Water analysis, sludge analysis, chemical analysis,

defect control analysis. To ensure operating within defined parameters,

includes but is not limited to, BOD, COD, TDS, TSS, and Total Solids.

Manage hazardous and non-hazardous wastes generated and either recycle,

reuse or properly dispose of it. Manage paint sludge from storage, to

transportation, to its final disposal. By using only EPA approved Subtitle

D landfills for non-hazardous sludge and EPA approved Subtitle C landfills

for hazardous sludge, to insure sludge disposal meets all EPA requirements.

Plan and review all process improvements associated with chemical usage to

include improved business processes, and chemical usage reduction. Prepare

documentation, customer/financial analysis and usage reports.
