Assistant Manager for Recruiting (contract)
Responsible for developing and establishing the recruiting
plan/strategies for assigned area over fifty counties and the
recruitment of 7672 candidates for open positions. Process
personnel actions to include request for recruitment,
resignations, promotions, and reassignments, also process D-150
job requisitions for selecting managers, recruiting assistants
and clerks for open census positions. Screen resumes, conduct
in person and phone interviews, background checks, orientation,
training, and arranging lodging for candidates traveling.
Process daily payroll for recruiting assistant's office
operations supervisors and clerks, monitor testing and track the
recruiting numbers for the department. Built the recruiting
area from start by following the guidelines set by the Regional
Census Center and the recruiting plan established by
headquarters. Provide leadership to staff with regards to the
recruiting department, as it pertains to set-up, departmental
best practices, and overall operation of the recruiting area.
Develop credible and active relationships with all clients,
while supporting corporate HR policies, initiatives, and
procedures. Manage operational recruiting budget. Keep abreast

Provided guidance to high school students on careers to include
