Material Specialist
Contract position chosen to lead a highly focused cross functional team for
an Army new design critical program, which included a sensitive budget and
reduced lead-times. As the lead Supply Chain member my responsibilities
included but were not limited to insuring material was available at all
times to support schedule, ECO release management, WIP management, RMA
communication and follow-up with vendors for corrective action, metric
reporting to agreed milestones with the team, initiating and communicating
new Lean strategy and procedures for the intended cell. Managed and
communicated on a daily basis with the primary vendors in support of the
program. In this position I was in constant partnership with Engineering,
Programs Office, Production Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Incoming,
Reliability, and Shipping and Receiving. The contract was completed two
months ahead and under the awarded cost.

Contract position as the lead materials contact and analyst responsible for
insuring daily, weekly and monthly milestones are met in support of the
overall contract schedule. Includes but not limited to daily interface with
new product engineering, subcontracts, purchasing, and internal program
