• Engineering support for raw material processing, heat treating and powder
metal pressing departments, particularly in the design of powder metal
compacting tooling.
• Responsible for development and implementation of cost effective savings
methods, 2008 savings totaled $100,000
• Interacted with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Marketing, Costing, Tool
Room and Maintenance.
• Involved in new product launches (APQP, FMEA), established methods of
production, tooling, testing and product drawings, utilizing CAD.
• Worked closely with customers on product designs, samples and resolution to
customer complaints using 8D and DOE.
• Established inventory control and storage system for automotive tooling as
required by QS9000
• Responsible for specifying and ordering new powder compaction presses and
rebuild of powder compaction presses both for Dunn site and sister sites
globally.

hours, worker grievances and conflicts, and initiated personnel actions such
as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary measures.
• Analyzed production orders and schedules to ascertain types, quantities and
specification of products.
• Reviewed production reports and resolved operational, manufacturing and
maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational
delays.
