Responsible for company wide, multi-location, Human Resources initiatives

for a Large Management firm in the Philadelphia region.

. Developed and Implemented employee policies and procedures for the

Organization at large. Overhauled the entire Employee Handbook for

company wide distribution; added clarity to policies that were lacking

in substance and improved language to policies that were unclear to

employees. Continually staying abreast of new legal changes and

making amendments accordingly to our handbook when necessary to comply

with state and federal law.

relations issues, including responding to EEOC charges and claims in

. Designed and created the first ever Formal New Hire Orientation for

the company to assure comprehensive "on-boarding" and development

guidelines were provided to new employees. Also assisted in the

development of other training programs in conjunction with supervisors

and management at their request (EEO, Benefits, New Policy Changes,

etc).

. Counseled Management and Recommended Succession planning for future

organizational goals. This process overlapped with our Continued

Education program and Co-Op program so that we continued to recruit

future generations and plan for future company promotion and future

hiring.

. Changed company recruitment process away from "recruiter based only"

and utilizing other methods such as recruiting myself, contacts within

the industry, websites, etc, thereby reducing company recruitment

costs by at least 50% within the first year alone.

. Sourced, interviewed, negotiated, and hired candidates in a timely and

cost effective manner. This included non-exempt, exempt and officer

level positions.

. Compliance with all Company, Local, State, and Federal requirements

. Administration of all Employee Benefits, Compensation, and Performance

management programs.

. Recommended the design of all employee benefits plan selections,

meeting quarterly with brokers, bidding out to market for best

cost/plan advantages, and constantly staying abreast of benefit
