Developer
Developed a Client/Server CORBA ORB using static Invocation Interface (SII). Used Visigenic
VisibrokerNamingservices to look up Server object. Using JDK1.1.2 as the programming language. The
client ORB sends a patient id to the Server ORB and the Server ORB checks the patient id send by the
client in the MS Access database, if exists returns some medical history else an appropriate message.
The server method formats the medical history data in Health Level 7(HL7) format, which is then
displayed on the console at the client’s side. HL7 was the standard used by the Hospitals/Facilities to the
store and transform the medical data across the Net.
