Client: Honda Manufacturing of Alabama
. Managed a $1M (700+ development hours) Honda North American IBM WebSphere
Portal 6.0 implementation project and 6.1 upgrade that involved
consolidating Honda resources to be able to share information across
Honda North America and Canada, reduce warranty claims through shared
resources, provide remote workforce, enable virtual team collaboration
(Lotus Quickr), enable presence awareness and instant messaging
(SameTime), resulting in saving over $2M annually on travel reduction
alone. Designed the portal interface using Honda branding guidelines, and
migrated MS SharePoint sites data to WebSphere Portal 6.1. Created and
managed Statements of Work and contracts for third party vendors.
Performed risk assessment to identify and mitigate program costs and
scheduling risks. Developed a North American cost sharing model. (MS

. Assisted in implementing a Project Management Organization (PMO) at the
University of Southern Mississippi. This included the methodology,
templates, and processes. This effort also included developing the PMO
Charter and providing the framework for how the University requested PM

USM campus-wide web site infrastructure upgrade; developed communications
