Objective
To find a permanent position as scientist in the pharmaceutical area with a company who could make
the most of my leadership, problem solving abilities and knowledge in chemistry, biochemistry,
bioorganic, macromolecular and supramolecular chemistry. This position is the ideal starting point to
lunch my career.
Experience
Professor, Analytical chemistry, Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, Recinto Metro (2010-2011)
Professor, Organic Chemistry Review for MCAT, PCAT and DAT, Kaplan PR Inc. (2005-2006)
Chemist II, QA, Baxter, Jayuya, PR (2004)
Responsible for the analysis of component (salts, carbohydrate, amino acids) concentrations of the
three stages (initials, in-process, finals) of the packing process
Education
Ph.D. Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, PR (2013)
Worked in the synthesis and self-assembly of multifunctional supramolecules from 8-aryl
deoxyguanosine. Self-assemble dendrimers, and the development of peroxidase assay for
supramolecules are two highlights of these investigations.
M.S. University of California, San Diego, CA (2004)
Worked in the synthesis of collagen-like bioactive peptides and total synthesis of antibiotics with
chemotherapeutic ability.
B.S. Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, PR (2001)
Worked in the isolation, characterization and synthesis of marine natural products.
