Civil Engineering Designer

Summary

I have over ten years of experience in the civil engineering technical

field. I have grown from a drafter into a designer over that time. I have

worked in all aspects and areas of civil engineering and am comfortable

going from one discipline to another when required. I also have excellent

verbal and writing skills. I have proven myself to be someone who learns

quickly and works well under pressure. I get along well with others in my

workplace and am comfortable talking to clients and consultants. I am

Staff Designer III

In the corporate office in New Jersey, I worked solely on Tuxedo Reserve- A

2,355 acre planned community. Responsibilities included: roadway design,

mass grading, surface and TIN building. In the New York City office, I

served as the office's sole CAD and design support. As a result, every day

was a new challenge and experience. I became comfortable with quickly

changing gears, jumping from project to project. I worked on several New

York City jobs, including builder's pavement plans, grading plans for New

York City Parks and Recreation and construction scheduling plans

CAPTEC Engineering, Inc., Stuart, FL 2004 to 2007

Civil Designer

I worked independently the majority of the time, as one of the company's

senior designers. My responsibilities include plan preparation, QA & QC,

site plan design, roadway design, utility design and grading. I was also

involved with coordination between surveyors, planners and architects.
