Managed all facets of corporate card compliance program with average total
monthly balances of $83 million including: monitor delinquencies on
corporate card accounts, identify personal and inappropriate use of
corporate card and use of personal cards for business expenses.
. Managed the delinquency process for a corporate card program of over
40,000 accounts with an average 5% in past due status monthly.
Prevented the majority of accounts from aging to 180 days.
. Prevented write off penalties in excess of $100,000 through
identification of a vendor process failure which allowed re-
instatement of an account without proper authorization. Identified
situations where inconsistent application of credit authorization
guidelines allowed individuals to use corporate card in out-of-pattern
manner. Challenged vendors to implement improved controls and adopt a
consistent strategy.
. Implemented following process improvements: reduced turn-around time
in the creation of monthly reports by five days; issuance of combined
monthly management reports through creation of improved MS Access
queries; identification of cardholders who used corporate card for
personal spend in order to minimize risk of default.
. Changed the process which allowed employees to obtain cash for
merchant credits on previously reimbursed expense items. Total
recovery in six months approximately $50,000.
. Identified errors in data obtained by use of vendor's reporting tool
and worked with vendor to document the circumstances under which the
error occurred and to have it corrected.
. Established cross-functional teams including: Corporate Programs,
Human Resource Management, Recruiting Leadership and Accounts Payable
personnel.
. Designed and developed an MS Access database used to track repeated
compliance issues - identified the need since data redundancy existed
with same information located in multiple spreadsheets.
July 2001 - December 2006 Manager, Policies and Compliance
Designed, developed and implemented an airfare audit system to recover
airfare refunds and duplicate airfare expenses.
. Recovered $4 million in a five year period by designing, developing
and implementing an airfare audit process used to identify and recover
refunds received by business travelers. Identified fraudulent
activity such as: submitting business class airfares for
reimbursement while flying coach and the falsification of receipts.
. Partnered with dedicated travel agency to change their process of
payouts to issuance of checks to the firm instead of to the traveler.
Recovered more than $450,000 since inception of change.
. Managed, trained, supervised and directed internationally based
outsourcing personnel in the performance of the audit reconciliation.
Received an Outstanding Performance Award from management and bonus
for development of training materials and for delivering the first
fully functional Policy & Compliance outsourcing team.
. Participated in a lean Six Sigma project as subject matter expert
which resulted in additional recoveries of $8 million since 2007.

Designed and developed a Partner Information System used for succession
planning of primary client contact on strategic clients.
. Developed and implemented a partner information database used to provide
historical information to senior management used for corporate succession
planning strategies.

on prior industry experience. Experience is a component of compensation

. Teamed with marketing professionals to produce Partner Picture book using
the firm's electronic information systems. Project was completed well
under tight production deadline and under budget by approximately
$50,000.
