Manufacturing Production Engineer

June 1989 to Present

. Design tools and fixtures using SolidWorks & AutoCAD.

. Create and document work instructions.

. Design assembly cells and processes.

. Evaluate and Disposition nonconforming products (MRB).

. Evaluating Customer complaints on finished products.

. Design packaging.

. Design control system and tools for the Manufacturing of Manual,

Automatic and Semi Automatic machines,for in-house use, using PLC's,

. Designed & wired test boards for measuring contact resistance using

data acquisition system.

. Wrote inspection procedures and prepared check lists for inspection.

. Performed 1st article inspection (FAI) on stamped, molded and

assembled products.

. Implemented SPC control methods on manufacturing products.

. Performed mechanical & electrical tests on finished products per

Military specifications & customer requirements.

. Designed programs for optical gauging machines that automatically

measured part dimensions.

. Performed Electrical Continuity and Hi Pot test on connectors.

. Created SPC charts and applied Six Sigma Quality process on stamped

and molded parts.

. Created and applied Certified Operator Program for molding and

stamping machine operators.

. Verified supplier quality inspection methods and procedures.
