RE: Employee Relations - Human Resource Director
Recruitment Consultant:
With extensive management experience in all phases of Human Resources, I'm
currently considering relocation to central Iowa and will be seeking new
career opportunities. I would like to learn more about the Employee
Relations - Director Human Resource role. Based on the posted description,
I believe my experience and skill set would be a good match for this
opportunity.
Like most candidates that have spent their career in Human Resources, I
bring a strong foundation in HR fundamentals and an in-depth understanding
of the functions. I would describe my personal style and skill set as hands-
on, collaborative, mentoring, and employee focused.
I have experience in the type of problem solving, innovation, change and
project management that brings ROI to the organization. As a Human Resource
professional that understands organizational dynamics, I have the ability
to translate my experience into success for my organization. During my
career I've lead successful growth and change in every aspect of Human
Resources including innovative recruitment and retention solutions, cost
effective benefits solutions, wellness initiatives with demonstrated ROI,
implementation of new pension strategies, market based compensation
programs, design of criteria based evaluation systems, and proactive policy
development. More importantly, my experience includes an extensive
background in successful employee relations. I believe my strength is in my
ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization,
building consensus and acting as an agent for change.
This brief letter and attached resume can not effectively communicate the
breadth and depth of experience I can bring to a role. If you are seeking
proven HR leadership that can improve employee engagement and increase both
the bottom line and productivity, I have the skill set you are looking for.
After review, I would like an opportunity to talk with you. Please contact
me at the phone number on my resume or at my e-mail address. I ask that my
application be kept in strict confidence.
Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Steven M. Klehn, SPHR
