Senior Product development engineer: BRASKEM, Brazil (2006-present).
World's 8th biggest petrochemical company and 2nd largest Ultra High
Molecular Weight Polyethylene producer.
Coordination of High Density and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene
(HDPE and UHMWPE) product development projects and support globally
customers with focus on product value creation. Started as Full engineer
and then promoted to Senior grade.
. Developed and launched five new products focused on the European and
North American markets with a total NPV of around 6 million US$ (sales
increase).
. Delivered cost reduction projects in the order of US$ 400.000,00 per
year.
. Coordinated market defense projects with a NPV result of 4 million US$
(product improvement).
. Successfully prepared two technical seminars (2007/08) with the aim to

Materials and process development engineer: EMBRAER, Brazil (2002-2005).
World's third largest aircraft manufacturer.
Development of non-metallic materials and suppliers for commercial,
military and executive aircrafts. Started as grade 0 (trainee) and left as
grade 2 engineer.
. Researched and evaluated new technologies and materials for use in
aerospace applications (composites, polymers, rubbers, tapes and
adhesives) focused on performance improvement and cost reduction.
. Contributed with the selling of 25 military aircrafts to the Colombian
government due to the customer satisfaction with the high level support
on materials technical issues.
. Conducted and prepared flammability tests plans/reports to meet
regulatory standards like FAR/CS25.853.
. Wrote and reviewed homologation and technical specifications reports for
several aircrafts (Legacy and Embraer 145/170/190).
. Researched the viability to use the Rapid Prototyping process in final
aircraft interior parts (FDM, SLA and SLS technologies) as project
manager with a cost reduction per part of 14%.

Para ba, Brazil (1999). Carried out a scientific research project with
government scholarship focused on polymer blends.
. Ongoing professional training includes courses in: problem-solving,
negotiation, leadership, presentation skills, teaching, aeronautical
engineering, cabin safety, safety assessment, polymeric composites, FT-IR
and materials thermal characterization (1998-present).
