. Develop and integrate new manufacturing processes or improve current

process capability into existing plants.

new assembly plants- Jeep Liberty and the 45RFE Transmission plants

. Responsible for improving efficiency and productivity on new and

existing products.

plant flow and layout requirements.

with the use of data collection, analysis, product design, equipment,

weekly reports on project issues, progress and process improvements.

. Full knowledge of all Microsoft office programs- excel, word, power

. Manage all project issue meetings and timelines during the design,

build, ensure plant safety, debug, install and launch/pilot build

phases of a program.

. Responsible to ensure that the supplier is conforming to all corporate

specifications.

. Interfaced with cross functional team this included manufacturing

engineering, product design, purchasing, production, suppliers and

installation contractors.

. Coordinated contractor trades during the design, build and

installation of tooling/automation equipment.

. Managed the mechanical design and controls design for the

manufacturing tooling for lean manufacturing process and cost

effectiveness.

. Responsible for writing all quote packages, running bid meetings and

quote/supplier review for all assigned projects.

. Use of Nachi and ABB robots; Cognex and Perceptron vision systems;

Nordson urethane and primer dispense units; Atlas-Copco and Stanley

nut runners

. Ability to write and debug PLC software.

. Ability to troubleshoot controls panel wiring

. Ability to reconfigured cells and plant layouts to accommodate new

products with automation equipment or assist operators.

. Responsible for preparing the cost justification for equipment and

plant facility requirements and managed all financial cost tracking of

projects.

. Ability to train operators on new equipment and process improvements.

. The use of Six Sigma repeatability tests to ensure the tooling meets

the proper dimensionally correct GDT and KanBan to ensure part

orientation requirements for the highest quality.

. Lead the DFMEA and PFMEA reviews on the equipment to determine

potential problems and create corrective actions if necessary.

. Ability to use Catia V5 to review parts, AutoCAD to create plant

layouts, Microsoft Projects to create/update timelines, PowerPoint,

Excel and Word

. Able to travel and work overtime as necessary. Passport acquired.
