In September 2009, OWP/P, a leading architecture and engineering design firm was acquired by Cannon
Design, a New York based design firm.
Director of Facility Services, Senior Associate, 2005-2009
Scope included oversight of internal service fulfillment for up to 380 employees in multiple locations, in
excess of 100K SF of office space. Established and managed a $1.8M annual operating expense budget.
• Managed construction services for $1M tenant renovations with minimal disruption to occupied office
(included new flooring, office build-outs, and wireless AV implementation).
• Developed RFP’s for vendors, negotiated firm-wide contracts, and managed deployment of office
equipment, VOIP and LAN/WAN infrastructure, and document technology solutions.
• Leveraged innovative technology solutions and redefined work processes to prevent decline in customer
service when faced with 50% staff reductions.
• Designed/implemented firm-wide policies, procedures and training for 15-20% fiscal savings in office
operations, records management, and corporate travel.
• Managed Network Data Center operations 24/7/365, including emergency mechanical/electrical repairs.
