Managing the DOT driver program, Drug Program, Training (OSHA) (MSHA),
field inspections. Development of Critical lift plans. All personnel
functions. Customer base is extensive. Honda N.A., Cargill, Emerson,
Siemens, Clopay, all with separate safety requirements.

Responsibilities:
Director of Safety for Ironworker/Rigging company. Power plant safety
responsibilities for Duke Energy, DP&L, AEP and several other industries.
Developed entire safety program, performed training and field audits.
Slow economy forced layoff in March 2009 although I continue contract work
as needed.

Responsibilities:
Company of Union Ironworkers and Millwrights. Due to high-risk work
environment (power plants), company was highly penalized for Workers
Compensation in all states. Duties include, training (heavy OSHA)
requirements, multi-state insurance for work in 26 states, both liability
and Workers Compensation. Site safety inspections, heavy contact with
regulatory agencies, representing company at official functions and in
general, assisting the owner in the day-to-day functions of the business.

third party Workers Compensation administrator. Perform D.O.T. and OSHA
audits, train supervisors, assist with program development, participate in
client company safety recruiting processes. Position requires great
flexibility and heavy travel.
Achievements:
Developed group safety sponsor program for the State of Ohio Bureau of
Workers Compensation.
Appointed to Safety Sub-Committee of U.S. Rep. Rob Portman - Cincinnati,
OH for implementing a drug free workplace program throughout the nation.
Provide expertise to this committee regarding transportation issues and
the U.S. D.O.T. substance abuse testing program.
Assisted numerous companies with full D.O.T. audits and assisted with
returning many to satisfactory status after compliance audits by
regulatory agencies.

Better Business Bureaus for formulating successful safety programs in many

Perform freelance D.O.T. consulting work in Indiana for insurance
agencies, the ATA and the Indiana Motor Transport Association.
