Production Dept Managers to established accurate manufacturing specs, which
were then costed out to create accurate standard product costs. These costs
were then used in calculating the annual budget and explaining all
variances incurred throughout the next budget year.
. Changed the manner in which re-usable scrap was costed which reflected
more accurate expenses and inventory values.
. Implemented new reporting procedures for plant CAPEX projects saving
upfront time and money.
