Duties: I give a large amount of injections, teach a support group, and
give nutritional counseling. Set up policy and procedure, assist in
scheduling, and help patients reach their weight loss goals through
education. I order supplies and have cut the budget in three clinics,
without needing to affect the level of care the patients receive. I drew
blood, managed two clinics, and worked with the doctor when he did
physicals.

Duties: The position was created after I had been working as a float doing
a little of everything. My duties ranged from ordering supplies, giving
injections, cutting costs, implementing policies, patient teaching, safety,
staff development, triage, to covering if a nurse was out. My position was
very broad. I worked directly with the Nursing Supervisor on staffing
issues and nursing issues that would arise on a daily basis. I worked on a
computer as well as managed a large amount of paperwork. This job required
the ability to stay organized while multi-tasking and prioritize the
workload.

Duties: In the thirteen years at Bristol Park I worked urgent care and
dealt with lacerations, chest pain, codes, broken bones, etc. I worked in
all aspects of family practice, I set up for procedures, put on splints,
removed casts, gave injections, dressing changes, allergy shots, converted
paper charts to computer, etc. I worked Peds for six yrs. I did CHDP
exams, vision screening, hearing screening, vaccine review, gave
immunizations, education, and I was the Supervisor for our night clinic. I
worked in Internal Medicine, and had the ability to float to all
departments. I loved this job unfortunately we moved out of the area. I
did commute for three years, but it just got to be too much.
