I have 35 years of proven leadership as the Project Director and Senior Project Manager on high end hospitality,
corporate office center, restaurant, and retail projects. I have successful experience an Owner’s representative and
manager, and as developer, construction manager, designer, and general contractor. I have successfully managed
both fee and at risk projects for construction management and general construction firms.
I am available to join or lead a management team. With project staff’s of up to twenty five project managers,
engineers, and field superintendents, I have managed the creation of capital budgets, milestone schedules, break
down the project into advance and trade scopes of work, and bid out and award the subcontracts. I work with the
trades and manage the project to avoid claims and delays. My leadership skills in all aspects of the construction
process allows me to bring together as partners, and manage, the Operations, Design, and Construction teams. This
blend of experience helps in the development and management of the Capital Improvement Program or Project with an
emphasis on the cost and schedule management necessary for a timely, successful program. I am a communicator
and team builder, and have been successful by providing accurate and realistic information to the team, and senior
management, so timely and educated decisions may be made.
Major Projects
Mohegan Sun Casino/Resort 2007 to 2010 Sr Project Manager for Project Horizon
Casino of the Wind – Mohegan Sun Casino Expansion – $125 million project including 800 slot machines, 70
table games, elaborate themeing, 35’ high water feature, poker room, gaming floor and restaurants. Completed on
time and with 15% budget savings. Bid out and awarded subcontracts, managed design, operations, FFE/OSE, and
construction management teams. Also completed the $30 million dollar Earth Food Court and Winter Connector with
historical displays, and tenant fitout. Negotiate change orders, and tracked budget and schedule progress.
FoxCor Inc. 2000 to 2007 Project Director and Sr Project Manager for Owner Program Management
Thunder Valley Resort and Casino Sacramento, CA Design Manager for the $1.2
billion expansion of this existing Casino Property. Managing design team from start of Schematic Design through
CD’s.
Onsite fulltime manager and liaison between Operations, Design Team and GMP Contractor. 650 room hotel, 3000
seat showroom; 5000 car parking structure, convention space, spa and elevated pool deck. Expected completion is
Summer, 2010. Create & manage Master Schedule and Budget with the Construction Management Firm.
Station Red Rock Casino Spa Resort Las Vegas, NV Brought onboard the Red Rock project to manage the
overall site utilities, landscaping, parking structures for 3000 cars, site signage and surface lots. Brought this portion of
the project back on schedule. Managed the site design consultants and GMP contractors performing the work. Overall
Project cost was One Billion Dollars of which my portion to manage was approximately $100 million. Opened April
2006.
Aladdin/Planet Hollywood Conversion – Las Vegas, NV Project Director of the conversion of the Aladdin Resort
and Casino to The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. $150 million renovation of the Casino, Restaurants, Night
Clubs and Public Spaces. Managed Owner and Design Team interaction; supervised the estimating team, and was
responsible for the maintenance of project estimate. Solicited and analyzed GMP proposals and prepared project
phasing and schedule. Assigned construction team to project prior to moving to Red Rock. Project completion was
December 2006.
Gaylord Texan Resort – Grapevine, Texas Project Director for the Owner’s Program Manager for the $330 million
Hotel and Convention Center. Facilitate the completion of the 1500 room hotel, themed atriums and restaurants, one
million square feet ballroom and exhibition center and site work with the design and construction teams. Liaison with
the City Building Department and Fire Officials, coordinate construction with Owner’s FF&E & OS&E installation.
Punch out and turnover coordination. April 2004.
Westin Diplomat Resort – Hollywood, Florida Senior Program Manager on $850 million construction cost Hotel and
Convention Center. Design Management of Architectural Team, resolution of design issues, manage 25 FoxCor
program management staff on project management, punch out, and certificate of occupancy. City liaison. Project
completion was 2002.
GMH Development 1999 – 2000 Sr Project Manager
GE Capital Assurance Plymouth Meeting, PA On site construction project manager for the Developer of this
$50 million, 500,000sf, extremely fast track, design/build Corporate Headquarters. Implemented the design program
requirements of the tenant, renovating a former industrial site into a data intense insurance company headquarters
with IT centers, UPS systems, and stand alone emergency mechanical systems. Managed design team and facilitated
local government approvals and permitting. Opened on time and within budget.
Interstate Inc. 1994 1999 Sr Project Manager for Design Build General Contractor (self
perform site work, underground utilities, concrete and carpentry)
Fairleigh Dickenson University design build dormitory, Madison, New Jersey.
Thomas Edison State College expansion and historic restoration, Trenton, New Jersey. Harrah’s Marina Resort
& Casino, Atlantic City; created the project schedule for the casino and hotel tower as a consultant to Tishman;
performed the site work as a prime contractor.
Hansen Development Sr Project Manager for Owner Developer
Commonwealth National Country Club and Corporate Center Horsham, PA
Senior Project Manager for the developer of the Arnold Palmer designed championship golf course and two, one
hundred thousand square feet, high end, Corporate Headquarters. Also managed the infrastructure for the center,
offsite improvements for the local government, including a sewage treatment plant, renovated historic structures for
a marketing center and clubhouse.
Lehrer McGovern Bovis Sr Project Manager
Marriott Hotel at Princeton Forrestal Village Princeton, New Jersey; Senior Project Manager for the construction
manager of the upscale hotel and retail/office village. Design, schedule and budget management of the $100,000,000
project.
Westfield Development Contract Manager/Sr Project Manager
Garden State Plaza Mall Paramus, New Jersey Senior Project Manager for the Owner on the $100,000,000, one
million square feet expansion of a major retail mall. Buy out all trades, cost control, in house design management.
