FORD MOTOR COMPANY, (SVT), ALLEN PARK, MICHIGAN 2007 TO
2008
Lead Vehicle Development Engineer,
. Led Project Engineer in charge of maintaining a project schedule for
design, prototyping, validation testing, change management, budget and
timing on the 2008.5 Ford / Shelby Mustang GT500KR. Due to the short
amount of time allowed to execute this project, the detailed
coordination of tasks and deliverables to a stringent schedule for the
product release engineers, and product designer was imperative.
. Led the design and engineering of the hood, rockers, mirror caps and
splitter that were made from carbon fiber in an autoclave process. The
use of carbon fiber was to reduce vehicle weight. All these components
met their weight saving requirements of approximately fifty percent of
the standard production component and met the base vehicle dimensional
targets for craftsmanship gap and flush.
. Led the engineering team that was supporting the total vehicle
development located at Ford Motor Company. I performed the specific
validation testing required both on a vehicle and a component level
