AJILON LEGAL, Branch Manager; Atlanta, GA 2009 - present

. Recruit, interview and screen attorneys, paralegals and legal

secretaries for temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire positions

within law firms and corporate legal departments.

. Recruiting efforts also include placement of non-traditional

candidates in compliance, contract management, human resources and

procurement positions.

. Negotiate terms of employment - i.e. start dates, salaries and

benefits.

. Oversee operations, recruiting and business development of the Atlanta

office.

. Conduct face-to-face interviews with legal professionals with

experience in a variety of practice areas.

. Conduct professional references, employment, educational and bar

. Develop sources of qualified applicants through an extensive network

of referrals, social media and traditional recruiting techniques.

. Act as primary liaison in the full life-cycle of direct hire and

temporary legal support placement including cold-calling, sourcing,

interviewing, scheduling, negotiating compensation and offers.

. Create search strategy, develop position descriptions and advertise

job openings in print and on various career websites.

. Conduct educational, employment and reference checks on all

candidates.

. Identify, interview and qualify contract attorneys, paralegals and

legal secretaries for temporary and direct hire placement.

. Network with legal affinity groups to increase candidate pipeline and

market staffing services to potential clients.

. Solely responsible for opening Columbus, Ohio branch office. Performed

all business development and recruitment activities.

. Develop client relationships with administrators, hiring Partners,

lateral recruiters, paralegal managers and senior attorneys utilizing

networking, market research and cold calling techniques.

. Negotiate client fees for the temporary and direct hire placement of

legal professionals.

. Mentored and trained seven (7) recruiters within the company.

. Participate in special projects related to company's recruiting,

retention and diversity initiatives.
