I'm responsible for providing category Strategies that meet Corporate
requirements along with roadmap pricing, lead times, capacity, and
component availability: while, communicating this information to the
appropriate groups within Logitech. I also provide a (Monthly) 12-month
rolling forecast to each of my key suppliers to ensure capacity and product
availability. I also, communicate with internal business units to provide
guidance to key suppliers for phase-in and phase-out plans for new
products. also, coordinate the processing of Non-Disclosure Agreements
(NDAs) between our Legal department and Business Units to cover engineering
discussions without compromising Logitech Position. I help to analyze
weaknesses and strengths of key partners we want to develop as part of
choosing strong and flexible suppliers. I also facilitate design lead team
meetings Drive key discussions with new partners, coordinate supplier
meetings and roadmap presentations. I've Negotiate pricing on key
components along with helping the group to consistently receive a corporate
Cost Reduction requirements.

I was responsible for ensuring the on time delivery of materials while
ensuring that the EDI Orders were confirmed with all suppliers. I also worked
on price negotiation and the return of defective products on a weekly basis.
I used an MRP system which provided a more accurate forecast for program
managers. I helped manage the Bin stock program that was used to acquire
commodity type components for multiple platforms. My responsible commodities
were components such as, crystals, oscillators, resistors and power suppliers.
I worked with Accounts payable, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve
payment issues that might have delayed shipments of products.

Inventory Manager/Purchasing agent
Within my position as the Inventory Manager/Purchasing Agent I purchased up to
several different product lines, which required me to place truck shipments
weekly. I also worked at setting up truck deliveries and gave ETA'S to our
sales reps and customers. I Implemented procedures to improve the accuracy of
our inventory by using a bar-coding system to cycle count and receive all
material electronically and trained all warehouse personnel on proper cycle
counting ABC items and trouble shooting errors. With this new system of cycle
counting on a monthly basis we were able to eliminate the need to do a
full-blown annual physical inventory verification audit.

I was actively involved with the purchasing of raw material and Chemicals for
the manufacturing department and two laboratories. In addition, I handled all
contracts and blanket Purchase orders. I handled purchasing agreements for
capital equipment and helped reconciled discrepancies in pricing, invoicing
and accounts receivable. I created and tracked all purchase orders. I
established the ordering points safety stock levels and set up scheduling of
the materials for special jobs. I also was the coordinator for the yearly
bank audits.

I established a comprehensive and effective training program to manage and
complete all administrative functions of a Battalion of 400+ persons. I also
worked with outside agencies to provide tactical training in a Chemical
