Chief Credit Officer for Silverleaf Bank FSB (Proposed)
Initially brought on to assist with the opening of a nationally chartered
Thrift Bank. Participated in senior management business-level decisions
involving business vision and strategy and the standardization of best
practices. Performed complete market evaluation and analysis for Bank and
regulator. Wrote a 3-year budget, lending, marketing and compliance plans
including stress tests and submitted to the Office of Thrift Supervision
(OTS).
Achievements
. Defined and wrote lending policies and procedures including quality
control, compliance, ALLL and regulatory policies.
. Raised $2 million in pledges for funding capitalization without being
assigned to the team.
. Authored a comprehensive area marketing report that was eventually

. Restructured and integrated staff, aligned facilities, disposed of
troubled assets, and incorporated and re-branded three failed thrifts and
two banking institutions into 1st Nationwide.
. Monitored the bank's loan portfolio to ensure effective administration
including management of past-dues, loan agreement compliance, credit and
collateral exceptions, risk ratings, problem loans, non-accruals, and
charge-offs.
. Approved loans up to $1 million without additional loan committee
