Career History
Senior Design Engineer, Freescale Semiconductor, (a $5B manufacturer producing
integrated circuit products focused on the automotive, embedded and communications
markets), 2001 to Present. Led a team of up to five. Provided comprehensive engineering and
product definition support. Gathered market evidence, developed problem statements,
analyzed business opportunities, defined product features, created competitive
roadmaps, developed market requirements, and planned product launches. Consistently
delivered product on time and within budget according to my product roadmap.
Customer Service Advocate, Risk & Fraud Analyst, MBNA America, 1997 to 2001. While a
fulltime student, sold credit card products and provided assistance to customer with
credit card inquiries. Researched credit cards to determine any fraudulent activities.
Research Assistant, University of Delaware, 1997 to 2001. Conducted research to
investigate different methods of reducing the computational time required to process and
manipulate digital images. Reduced the computational time required from days to hours
using MPI resulting in a 400% improvement.
