SUMMARY

** ***** ********** ** ****** analysis, design, development and project

management of workflow and Information Lifecycle Management projects for

SAP customers, I have obtained a particular focus on the design of

solutions based upon SAP technology, translation of user needs to the

delivery of functional and technical specifications. Having worked

extensively within the Pharmacutical, defence and nuclear industries I am

trained to work within tightly regulated environments and validated

systems.

I have combined experience gained working for the major document management

and workflow providers, including FileNet, Documentum, IXOS(OpenText) and

Easy Software with a sound SAP background. Specialist areas include

integration of document management, ILM (SAP data archiving) and workflow

technologies. I also have experience in the design and development of

third party interfaces for software solutions wishing to interface with

SAP.

As a certified SAP ABAP developer with specialist skills covering the

integration of Workflow, document management, including the design and

development of interfaces using Web Services, idoc and Java connectivity.

Introducing technology which impacts both the technical SAP landscape and

the business process employed by the organisation requires that I spend a

significant amount of time socialising the business process and technical

changes throughout my customers, this has enabled me to build a strong set

of communication skills enabling me to ensure that projects gain acceptance

both technicaly and by the business process owners.

Other areas of expertise include delivery of shared service purchase to pay

processing solutions; Project management of SAP projects and the

decommissioning of old SAP servers as part of an ILM strategy.

My customers include heavily regulated blue chip organisations working

within the pharmaceutical, energy, nuclear and defence industry sectors.

July 2008 - Dec 2008

. My role for ABB has been to architect the long term solution for the

management and decommissioning of their SAP system landscape. This has

provided me with the challenge of having to provide a common

architecture for 9 logical business units spread across Switzerland.

Having to manage expectations at a senior level and gain the trust of

the key stake holders within each of the business units. A

significant amount of my time was spent designing the architecture for

the solution and then ensuring that the key stake holders were

comfortable with the planned approach.

. Providing advice on both the technical, legal and business needs of

the decommissioning of nine SAP solutions which have been consolidated

into one server. This required analysis from a legal and compliance

perspective, a technical "how can we do this" angle along with a

detailed understanding of the needs of the individual business units.

Much of my time was spent in discussion with the individual business

units across Switzerland negotiating the access requirements to the

old data not archived. Part of the project was to propose and

evaluate different technical solutions to decommissioning, this

involved creation of functional specifications and negotiations with

third party suppliers.

In addition to this project I also carried out analysis of both the

documentation standards and change procedures for change requests with a

view to making recommendations to improve both quality and project success.

. Evaluation of existing plans for SAP server consolidation and server

decommissioning.

. Analysis of business requirements for access to data from

decommissioned SAP servers.

. Analysis of legal and compliance issues.

old data from SAP servers to be decommissioned.
