AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Radiography
-Current position held as the X-Ray Level III Supervisor. In charge of the Real Time-
Digital X-Ray Department as well as all NDT personnel. Handle all time scheduling,
evaluations and auditing of NDT personnel. Compose written procedures, techniques and
training for DSE Systems in Gaffney South Carolina.
-Perform computed radiography on various super alloy aircraft engine blades, engine
cluster vanes and engine shrouds. Performed daily film processor, x-ray tube
and film viewer checks. Established both digital and film radiographic techniques.
Handled all the digital x-ray operations (utilizing the Kodak AE2000I
digital x-ray unit). In charge of all film, chemistry and supply ordering. Processed
AGFA D2, D3, D4, and D7 film through Kodak Automated Film
Processor. Interpreted digital images and film per various engine manuals and
DOI instructions for customers such as American Airlines and GE for
Pratt & Whitney Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations in Grand Prairie Texas.
-Performed film and real time radiography on Stainless Steel, Inconel and Titanium welds
and components. Performed daily film processor, x-ray tube and film viewer checks per
Nadcap specifications. Established radiographic techniques, interpreted prints, and
followed work order and WIP procedures. Processed Fuji 25, 50 and 80 speed film
through Fuji Automated Film Processor. Interpreted film per various aerospace company
specifications such as; Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Bell Helicopter, Pratt and Whitney,
Rolls Royce and General Electric for Parker Stratoflex Aerospace products in Fort Worth
Texas.
-Performed film, real time and digital radiography on various rocket motor cases and
propellants. Film and digital radiography were performed using a particle accelerator
(Linetron 3000A) and computer programs. Required to hoist and position handling
system for various rocket motors. Real time radiography was performed using 300KV x-
ray tube and computer programs. Performed processor checks and monthly surveys.
Processed Kodak M, SR and R speed film through Kodak Automated Film Processor.
Interpreted film per various military specifications for Aerojet Aerospace in Camden
Arkansas.
-Performed film radiography on pipelines, drums, boilers, tanks, bridge girders, welds,
castings, tubes, concrete floors on structural buildings, rail cars, offshore piping (flooded
member detection), welder certification coupons and various materials. Required as Level
II lead technician to liaison with company contacts in order to establish various
techniques and procedures. Performed radiography using 300KV x-ray tube in the
laboratory and IR192 and CO60 isotope for field inspections. In charge of filling out
transport index radioactivity and all state requirements for radiographic testing as well as
transferring and shipping of radioactive sources. Processed both manually and
automatically utilizing Kodak, Fuji and Agfa film. Interpreted film per AWS, API and
various specifications for International Testing and Inspection Services in Little Rock
Arkansas and Belle Chase Louisiana.
-Performed film radiography on pipelines, drums, boilers, tanks, exchangers, welds,
castings, tubes, welder certification coupons and various materials. Worked on free trade
U.S./Mexico pipeline for Chevron Refinery, Diamond Shamrock, Conoco, Texaco, and

-Knowledge in the mechanics and various techniques of dye penetrant; Fluorescent

Visual Inspection
-Performed visual inspection as Aerojet NDT Inspector in Camden Arkansas on various
rocket motor cases and propellant molds for the US Army, Navy, and Air Force.
-Performed visual inspection as QC Inspector for Allseas Offshore Company
in Mobile Alabama and the Gulf of Mexico; on British Petroleum projects (King
Kong, Mardi Gras, and Bombax), Shell Petroleum projects (Macaroni and Nakika).
Inspection consisted of the quality of concrete coated piping, FBE coated offshore
piping, pipe coating cutbacks, and bevel, damage, internal diameter and outside
diameter dimensional checks, and barge load out inspection for transfer of pipe to
offshore vessel. As QC Inspector I was required to send daily reports, inspection
reports, load out reports, and digital photos of parts and materials, etc. via email on
Excel, Word and other Microsoft formats. Participated in project meetings with
corporate representatives, project managers, safety engineers, and pipe coating
company officials.
-Performed visual inspection for International Testing & Inspection on structural steel
bridge girders for Afco Steel Bridge Company in Little Rock and Van Buren
Arkansas; paper mill rollers, tanks, columns, piping and boiler tubes for Green Bay
packaging paper mills in Morrilton and Pine Bluff Arkansas; welding for welder
certification.
-Performed visual inspection for El Paso Inspection on several City Of Las Cruses
pipeline projects; Conoco Pipeline projects in Albuquerque New Mexico; welder
certification at Chevron Refinery in El Paso Texas.

Ultrasonics
-Performed Ultrasonic Thickness Inspection on super alloy aircraft engine blades, engine
cluster vanes and engine shrouds utilizing a Krautkramer UN-60 for Pratt & Whitney
Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations in Grand Prairie Texas.
-Performed drafting of isometric drawings for various units in the Chevron refinery,
Chevron Asphalt Plant, El Paso Electric Company and Green Bay paper mills, for
thickness gauging. Work with an automatic UT crawler for tank inspection and data
loggers for reading recording. Performed shear wave piping lamination scan for Coflexip
Stena offshore company, bolt crack detection for Green Bay paper mill and railcar crack
detection for Transiteck.
-Knowledge and experience in working with Panametrics Magna-Mike 8500,
Panametrics 25DL, Panametrics 26 DL Plus, Krautkramer USN 60, Krautkramer
Branson DMS, and Eclipse thickness meters.
Magnetic Particle
-Performed Fluorescent Wet Magnetic Particle on various rocket motor cases. Interpret
parts per various military specifications for Aerojet Aerospace in Camden Arkansas.
-Performed Magnetic particle dry powder techniques on drums, boilers, tanks, welds,
