I am a Level II with certification in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Eddy Current and Ultra

Sonics and have successfully passed the basic test to become a level III. Responsibilities

included bore sonic operator, operation of bores scope, sales of product lines, write and interpret

procedures, research and development, training of level I & II, technicians in NDT, and generate

* Project lead of Bore sonic imaging system and of interpreting results of inspection information.

* Responsible for generating reports of findings for bore sonic and eddy current imaging units.

* Troubleshooting and fixing problems with bore sonic system both electrical and mechanical.

depths on cracks between boiler heads and flange cracking.

Project Highlights:

Power Plant experience of over 16yrs. Boresonic operator and conventional shut down expertise

inspection in valve, diaphragms, turbines (HP, IP and LP), fasteners (bolting), shells, generators,

dovetail slots and pins, retaining rings, bearings, hot reheat/cold piping, and boilers. Well versed

in using ultrasonic testing both automated and pulse echo in shear and longitudinal methods,

penetrant, magnetic particle and eddy current testing, operation of bore scope. Types of units

worked on were gas and steam co-gen manufactures included General Electric, Westinghouse,

Allison Chambers and Mitsubishi.
