providing custom and specialized airflow control solutions for laboratories

more than $1 million in annual sales during the first full year of

operation. Sales in subsequent years exceeded $2,500,000.00 at a GOM of

approximately 35% for this division.

- Effectively managed assigned all P&L responsibilities in budgeting,

forecasting, marketing and sales, project management, capital purchases,

and engineering management. Consistently exceeded targeted sales and

business goals and objectives. Developed strong satisfied base of

customers.

- Directed the division teams to produce design documents for various types

of projects including Educational, Industrial, R&D, as well as other

specialized facilities requiring high-end HVAC solutions.

- Revised the scope of work and resold an existing job. Customer had

Capital Equipment Procurement Engineer at Hatch Associates: (Buffalo Office

Closed)

- Produced the competitive bidding specifications and recommended for

purchase $45 million of equipment as part of the design team of a new

$125,000,000.00 beryllium copper production plant.

- Prepared in the installation specifications and managed the generation of

construction drawings.

- Coordinated integration of programmable controls for each major group of

processing mills and equipment with the overall building automation,

control, and monitoring DDC system.

- Combined four separate equipment and system design packages into a single

system recognizing savings of $150K in equipment, engineering, and

installation costs. Addition operating cost as well.

Capital Equipment Procurement Engineer at Praxair:

- Responsible for specification, selection, and installation of air

separation equipment for multiple facilities internationally. Equipment

included a wide range of rotating and fixed equipment. Made periodic

visits to vendor shops to inspect and verify conformance of equipment to

all specifications.

- Mentored direct hire Junior Engineers on the proper selection of fans,

pumps, and compressors on basis of energy, operating characteristics of

equipment, type and model of equipment. This selection is also based

upon anticipated installation and maintenance concerns and design

requirements.

Capital Equipment Procurement Engineer at Occidental Chemical: (Corporate

Engineering Closed)

- Worked with projects involving ventilation, HVAC, dust collection,

piping, materials handling, packaging/filling, conveyor systems, fans,

pumps, chillers, filtration, cooling towers, and boilers.

- Provided an innovative ventilation designs for a new and existing

production facilities. One plant location upgraded two existing process

buildings by duplicating the same design. Design provided for improved

safety and working conditions for employees by reducing heat stress in

accordance with safety codes and regulations. Resulted in savings due to

reduced reduced man hours for requied heat stress breaks.Combined savings

for entire plant were projected to be $300K+ annually.

- Investigated and identified an alternative solutions to a packaging and

materials handling system for a customer mandated proprietary shipping

container. Reduced the original budget of $1,200K to $600k.
