In addition to the accounting and cost accounting skills I would bring to
your client, I bring years of experience preparing financial analysis;
annual budgets, forecasts, product profitability, customer profitability,
all forms of ad hoc analysis.
I've been in manufacturing the last 16 years, 4+ years as plant controller,
5 years as senior financial analyst, 6 years as production control manager.
I all my roles in manufacturing I have either been in charge of or
involved in cost accounting, supporting both the accounting/inventory
valuation needs and customer profitability analysis.
Previous to my years in manufacturing, I spent 21 years in banking, the
last 7 years as controller and cashier of a national bank. Again, in
addition to the general accounting functions, I was responsible for cost
accounting and the financial reporting for the banks' asset/liability
management functions.
As plant controller, I would bring a disciplined approach to the monthly
close process, a focus on quality and accuracy to reporting and financial
analysis and extensive experience to the cost accounting component.
I would appreciate and welcome phone calls from you and your firm to
discuss available positions. Please keep this inquiry confidential. Thank
you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Rod Kinman
