• Developed total project control estimate for $350 million, flue gas desulfurization system addition at the Mitchell Power
Plant for American Electric Power Company constructed in Moundsville, W.V.
• Highly successful obtaining fixed price projects for Company’s environmental product line for wet and dry scrubbers,
fabric filters, electrostatic precipitators and selective catalytic reactors.
• Environmental projects awarded through competitive bidding include Newmont Station (Fluor), Spiritwood Plant
(Great River Energy), Wygen 2&3 (Black Hills P&L) and Naughton Plant (Pacificorp).
• Provided initial project forecast estimate for the Turk Plant, $1.3 billion, 600 MW coal fired plant for Southwestern
Electric Power Company currently under construction in Arkansas.

• Directly obtained through competitive bidding, Wygen One Power Station, $110 million, EPC coal fired power project
for Black Hills P&L in Gillette, Wyoming, successfully completed by company.

building services), subcontractor bid packages, indirect construction and commercial costs.
• Instituted company standards for cost control procedures on EPC projects, including participating

• Developed fixed price EPC construction estimate for, Saba Project, a $90 million, 130 MW oil fired plant, successfully
awarded and completed by company in Lahore, Pakistan.
• For Saba Project, prepared subcontractor bid packages including bulk material take-offs to obtain civil, piping and
electrical proposals, evaluated major equipment vendors and developed expatriate manpower schedule.
• For fixed price EPC proposals, evaluated factors influencing site selection, constructability, plant design and plant cost
by visiting domestic and international construction sites (Peru, Pakistan, Czech Republic and India).
