Throughout my career I have worked in the management of departments and crews of
workers. I have a fi rm understanding of budgets, billings, project management, and personnel
issues. As maintenance manager for Zilog I acquired skills that have assisted me throughout
my career in building management and facili ty repairs. I have managed small crews to dozens
of personnel including office management.
S ales and Ma rketing:
I have been involved in the sales and marketing for the last 20 years. Targeting new customers
t hrough effective sales procedures and then developing long term relationships with those
customers. I have been directly responsible for bringing new customers to companies that I
have worked for. I have increased sales and revenue substantially for each employer.
Z ilog I nc .: A computer chip manufacture. I was the Plant Electrical Engineer for six years.
M y duties included the maintenance of all electrical and other systems in the plant.
$65,000.00 per year.
H unt Electr ic : Managed the Service Department including sales of long and short term
maintenance agreements, advertising, and marketing the service department. Managed 48
men and preformed over three million dollars in service work per year. $65,000.00 per year
and 8% of profits.
Cache Valley Elect ric : Managed work done at Micron. I was the onsite manager of the
service and construction agreement for two and one half years. I secured projects ranging from
a few thousand dollars to a half million dollars. I worked directly with Micron and a Contract
M anagement company on site. In two and a half years I managed over 17 million in contracts
and up to 140 electricians. $80,000.00 per year and a discretionary bonus.
Coates Electrical and I nst rumentation : For the past 6 years I have been the Marketing
and Sales Director. I sold long term and yearly renegotiated contracts. Some of my customers
were Questar Gas, Chevron Refinery, Holly Oil, Blacks Fork Gas Refinery, and several other
small and large contracts. A lot of my work was in Wyoming in the gas fields. I would market,
obtain GSA contracts and manage on site and off site those accounts. $80,000.00 per year and
a d iscretionary bonus yearly.
