include: Human Resource Administration, Active in recruiting, payroll, hiring and

Employee Relations Supervisor, Responsible for communication and interpretation of Hr
policies and procedures. Consults with mangers and consults employees on issues including
performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discriminations etc. Interprets and complies with
all company and state laws.
Safety Advisor, Responsible for the safety compliance for production and administrative in
the warehouse which incorporates 1.3 million square feet and over 750 associates. Assisted in
saving the company money in injury claims through safety training and administration of the
safety laws in the facility.
Compensation/Benefits Administrator, Provides counsel to managers on compensation
issues. Reviews and approves salary increases outside guide lines. Stays abreast of current
compensation issues, trends, etc. in the labor market(s) that may affect their workforce. Conducts
preliminary job analysis and creates job descriptions of non-benchmark positions through a job
evaluation process. Partners with controller during salary planning. Manage a portfolio of
products values at approximately $5M, including annual payroll in excess of $1.1million, health,
dental, long and short term disability. Ensures the communication and interpretation of all benefit
changes and policies.
Human Resources Manager - 2006-Present
Haydon Brothers Contracting, inc. /Rose Transport Springfield, KY Serves as primary HR
support in one of 2 locations to include cooperate office. HBC is an organization with 160
employees, producing annual revenues of $100 million. They are a market place leader in road
construction and transportation. Developed and implemented a Human Resource Department
from Ground Level. Supervised two direct reporting associates.
Recruiting- Responsible for recruiting quality employees in positions including, Civil
Engineers, Project Managers, Operations Mangers, District Managers, Supervisors, and
Transportation operators. Responsible for screening, scheduling interviews, and assisting in the
interview process.
Retention- Reduced terminations by 47% through development of the Positive Performance
Counseling Program that assist employees in improving attitudes and empowering them to create
their own feelings of job satisfaction thus alleviating the feeling of being victimized. Stay abreast
