I am submitting my resume to be considered for the advertised Entry Level Hardware Tech position in
Hays, Kansas. I am in search of a position in a field where I am able to utilize my previous education, future
educational goals, current experience, and creativity in a career; where I will have the potential for advancement.
I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, in 2003, which is useful in any career field. In 2008, I
returned to college at Fort Hays State University to pursue education in CCNA Certification and Web Design. I am
aware some of these skills are best learned through practical experience. I will discuss this area of education
further in the future. I enjoy being challenged and problem solving. I am teachable, and I refuse to quit a project
until I have obtained a successful resolution.
With regard to my employment history, most currently, I am working at a local grocery store. I enjoy the
job, because in a small way I am able to help people. Previously, I have enjoyed working within my local
community as a volunteer at church, most recently teaching a pre school class on Wednesday evenings. I am a
hard working individual, able to function well individually and within a team. I have natural motivational
leadership ability and I enjoy leadership.
I know I have the ability to represent your company in a professional manner. I am excited about the
creativity involved within this job I am excited about the thought of beginning this profession! I look forward to
discussing the job with you further. Thank you for the time in reviewing my resume!
Sincerely,
Nichole Rust
