Inventory Analyst 2000-2004
Responsible for developing department strategies for finished goods
purchasing and inventory levels to coincide with corporate objectives.
Provide forecasting information to manufacturing facilities in Japan.
Monitor, categorize, and evaluate the quality, sales, demand, and age of
material and on time delivery performance to customers.
Previously, procured materials and factory supplies for the manufacturing
based on usage rate, cost, and shelf life. Coordinated new product
launches and process changes to ensure the timely reduction of obsolete
inventory. Implemented a forecasting system that effectively combined the
production plan with the procurement plan.
- Reduced inventories from $11M to $6M to successfully align with
production goals.
- Successfully met quarterly production goals and accurately
managed a $6M materials budget.
