Senior Design Project: A cabinet flipper door was re-designed using

design for manufacture and assembly methodology. The overall design of

the door was simplified and cut assembly time by 80% and increased design

efficiency by 30%. A comparative cost analysis was performed between the

first design and our redesign which showed a savings of $4 per door.
