2009)
Position responsibilities changing due to financial staff
reorganization in 2008, currently include Journal Entries, account
reconciliations, reserve analysis, support analyst
function regarding benefits organization expenses, prepare tax and
audit workpapers,
fixed asset system manager, calculation and tracking of FAS-123R
expense, preparation of Benefits & Pension 5500s.
Additional responsibilities held until 12/31/07 when the financial
staff was reorganized (2 finance groups were merged together)
. Provide accounting support to Corporate Benefits department to include
budgeting, forecasting and preparation of monthly reports regarding
healthcare and insurance expenses, analysis of IBNR, Pension Plan, FAS
106 & 112 reserve accounts.
. Support Corporate Accounts Payable function including employee expense
report and vendor invoice processing, preparation of vendor 1099
forms, company credit card program reporting, credit card program
policies & compliance. Review and approve all Corporate staff invoices
for payment.
. Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis reports for management
review.
. Reconcile various balance sheet accounts, review accounts payable
policies and procedures, ensure controls are adequate to meet
Sarbanes/Oxley standards..
. Provide accounting support to Risk Management, Retirement, Human
Resources, and Security departments.
. Responsibilities include budget preparation, forecasts, monthly
journal entries and financial reports, account analysis, ensure
Sarbanes/Oxley compliance requirements for the General Ledger are
maintained and preparation of year-end taxpapers. Provide work
direction to department clerks.
. Responsible for the installation and implementation of Platinum
Accounts Payable system for use by the Ceridian Corporate Accounts
Payable function. Vendor file maintenance, review and approval of
vendor/employee payments. (A/P responsibilities were transferred to
Cleveland Ohio A/P center)
. Reconcile Treasury, Common Stock & Restricted Stock accounts, record
monthly FAS-123R expense and Restricted Stock award/lapse & forfeit
activity. Review stock compensation expense forecasts & budgets with
Treasury department. (Ceridian became a privately held company Nov
2007)
. Reconcile Prepaid Travel account to ensure all charges are cleared
from account on a timely basis. .

. Provide accounting support to Corporate Accounts Payable and Travel

. Report to and assist manager of disbursements, vendor relations and
special processing.
. Analyze 15 general ledger accounts, supervise clerical staff (12
people), prepare month end journal entries, year end audit papers and
