To Whom It May Concern:
I am interested in the job opening in your establishment. I hope my
previous job skills and credentials are to your expectations. My
dedication and motivation are two of the many qualities I have to offer
this position. Being a hard worker is something that is instilled within
me and I strive for excellence in everything I pursue. Your company is an
institution of high standards and I would feel privileged to be a part of a
winning team. I would like to take you on my career journey as I update
you on my status and why I am the right fit for you school/organization.
In August 1989, I started out at Elizabeth City State University Banking
Center as a work study student. I then was employed as a paid intern and
later as a fulltime employee. In July 1993 I graduated from Elizabeth City
State University with my undergraduate degree in Business Administration
and I relocated to Goldsboro, North Carolina for another job opportunity
for career growth with a company called Accurate Inventory and Calculating
Services. I supervised 150 employees in the Regions of Virginia, North
Carolina and South Carolina. In January 1997, the company decided to
outsource overseas and then I became employed at Nationwide Distribution
Services where I supervised over 300 employees in Virginia, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. In August 2001 this company
went bankrupt and closed down without my prior knowledge. I then stepped
into my calling of Education and became a Mathematics Educator at Woodfield
Academy. Due to budget cuts and I being the newest teacher, I was released
from Woodfield Academy in January 2003 with the opportunity to come back
when the budget allowed it. I then joined Cooperative Baptist Fellowship
of Georgia in January 2003 as an accountant. In January 2004 I received a
tremendous opportunity as a sales manager at BellSouth. I supervised over
200 employees in the South Region in the area of inbound and outbound
product and services. In January 2006 the company was sold to AT & T and
managers were downsized and thus I was released with opportunity to come
back. I immediately went back into education and in 2006, I taught math at
Putnam County High School for three years and six months. For an increase
in salary I transferred to another school system at Baldwin High School. I
also have been employed as an online professor at the University of
Phoenix/Axia College where I teach in the Associate, Bachelor and Master
program. In August 2009, I took the opportunity to step into College
Administration where I became Assistant Campus Director and immediately I
start serving in the Campus Director's capacity and role. Although I have
changed jobs frequently, I am searching for the job that I can retire with
in the field of collegiate education. As I have reviewed the job
description as well as the actually school/organization, I know that this
is a "perfect" fit for me and in turn I will be a "perfect" fit for the
school/organization. I know that if I am given the opportunity, I will be
a great asset to this school/organization. I ask for an opportunity to
prove myself unto this school/organization and I will deliver and not
disappoint. I work hard for positive results and I will not settle for
anything less. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope I will
qualify as a candidate for an interview. Please contact me if you have any
questions. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Pierre A. Williams
