ESG Consulting Inc. (Client: Applied Materials Inc.) 2009 - 2012

Title: Business Analyst / Trade Analyst

Responsibilities: Documenting international trade compliance business processes in accordance with Applied Materials’ ICP (Internal Controls Program); Analyzing trade data (Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Inco terms, ECCN) in order to support internal business functions and cost reduction on duties paid at the time of imports. A team member in a project runs by logistics group to assist with cycle time reduction at US borders (Customs Clearance). Develop and augment existing business processes, responsible for assessment of the new countries for establishing new business and trade expansion into the 36 countries.

Projects: Representative of the Trade team in five company’s system integration projects involving SAP 6.0 (ECC) and the GTS (a SAP’s Global Trade Compliance system.)

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining data attributes against the parts for the migration to the SAP 6.0’s Material Master. (Over 60k parts)

• Participating in test script review, validation and script testing using the HP QC – Mercury - system. Participating with UAT (User Validation Testing), creating and resolving defects during the integration testing for SAP’s GTS system.

Atec Engineering Consultant 2002- 2005

Title: Internal auditor for quality management

Responsibilities: Auditing the business processes and core operations based on the company’s quality management system, maintaining and updating the system’s documentations according to the ISO 9001:2000 / QMS 2000 requirements, preparing the system performance measures reports in order to present in the annual external audition.

• Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation – Consulting with the ISO 9001: 2000 / QMS 2000 implementation including the assessment of the existing business processes, working with the functional groups and processes optimization across the company, preparing documentations, consulting the top executives and training the employees, defining the business performance metrics for the functions directly involved in the company’s main operation which led the company to successfully achieve its QMS certification in the first external audit by SGS, Swiss.

• Quality Management System Internal Audit – Conducting the QMS semiannual internal audit, measuring and analyzing the performance metrics, keeping track of the issued CAR forms and working with each functional group to ensure the required corrective actions have been taken and presentation of the audit results to the boards of director.
