Directed the development of an integrated software solution for the

forestry industry that became a major success with a rate of more than 40%

penetration of the industry.

As a software engineer

Developed and implemented in collaboration with a research institute a

stochastic software model to optimize the water management of reservoirs

for a public utility generating electricity.

Designed, programmed and implemented a radio station scheduling software to

prepare accurately-timed daily and weekly playlists based on specific

rules, rotations, history, and events. This software was implemented in

about 40 stations and resulted in more than 30% increased in revenues.

Sole architect of a clinical trial software for a major global

pharmaceutical company, this project spanned over 5 years and was

implemented worldwide. By implementing knowledge-based innovations, this

software was able to speed-up the approval of new medications by the FDA

giving a tremendous competitive advantage in the marketing of new

molecules. This project has been known as the best project in this history

of the company.

As a consultant

Developed and implemented a business plan for a plastic corporation

resulting in growth of revenues from $30M to $65M in less than three years.

Main tasks included the following:

. Reengineering of all the processes of the manufacturing operations

resulting in 35% cost savings and substantial increase in the overall

business efficiencies.

. Successfully developed and implemented an ERP solution adapted to the

specific needs and requirements of the plant based on innovative

technology, an effort of more than 2 years.

. Restructured and retrained the customer service representative

center, quality assurance and support division resulting in a better

performance in availability, delivery time, quality and customer

satisfaction.

. Established a marketing/sale strategy for the Canadian and American

markets that resulted in a rapid growth of sales.

. Implemented a management by objectives approach through the

definition, setting and measurement of Key Performance Indicators

linked to a bonus performance program for all the employees.

. More than doubled the production capacity of the plant by

implementing valorization, optimization and addition projects.

. Developed and implemented a web-based dashboard software to optimize

in markets conditions.

. Worked in collaboration with Ernst & Young on the all the steps to

sell the company to a strategic purchaser: Executive summary,

Confidential Information Memorandum, Data Room Protocol, Purchase

Assets Agreement, Etc.

As a teacher

As a college professor, designed and taught a new computer sciences program

tailored to the specific needs and requirements of the industry. This

program became a model for many institutions in Canada and increased

considerably the placement of students upon graduation. A modified version

of that program was also implemented for adults who wanted to reorient

their career.

Founded two training schools (in the U.S. and Canada) which specialized in

providing advanced workshops to IT staff in both countries. Designed more

than 30 technical training workshops and taught more than 250 classes.
