This position supported the developmental needs in materials and assembly
processes. Worked closely on challenging projects ranging from material
characterization, IC packaging process optimization, electrical, mechanical
testing and failure analysis & troubleshooting, and reliability testing.
MS thesis, Center for Imaging Science, RIT, Rochester, NY
September 2008 onwards
Fabrication and characterization of Polymer Light Emitting Diodes (PLEDs)
for display applications: The scope of this research work is focused to
fully understand and improve the configuration, mechanism and efficiency of
the organic light emitting diodes. The devices are fabricated using varying
blend ratios of polyfluorene polymers, cathodes and buffer layers.
Characterization is done to optimize the devices and morphological
examination to facilitate additional development in the technology.
Project assistant, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India
April 2006 - August 2007
Assisted Dr. Guruswamy: Projects included enhancement of mechanical
properties of polymers by adding additives. Got an opportunity to design
and setup procedure for making single crystals of polymer, learn various
characterization techniques, presented ideas before group.
