I have over 35 years of estimating, construction management, cost, project
management and leadership experience with both A&E consultants and general
contractors. My experience spans most types of contracts (lump sum,
design/build, fixed price, unit cost, turnkey) including all divisions. I
worked on new and rehabilitation projects of the following types: airport,
seaports, parking garages, prisons, hotels, high rise buildings, hospitals,
museums, power plants and other industrial projects, offices buildings,
roads, bridges and viaducts, tunnels, universities, refineries, and other
various types of infrastructure. I have more than ten years of field
experience and more than 20 years of office experience. My experience
working for construction contractors has given me keen insight into how
pricing should be build-up in relation to type, size and nature of the
project and my work for A/Es has proved valuable in rounding out my
estimating experience.
I have the ability to brings much more to the table than broad experience
in estimating and take offs. My formal education as an architect and my
over 35 years of working in the design and construction field, arm me with
well rounded knowledge and experience. This includes the following areas:
conceptual, detailed and definitive bid documents, e.g. general conditions,
plans & specifications for all divisions; drawings coordination (quality
control); value engineering; change orders; claims; cost management; cost
analysis, cost control, life cycle cost estimate, and time management. I

I have ten years of estimating Bridges and highways, 15 years estimating
all types of buildings, constructions Low and high rise, and ten years
estimating rehabilitation projects.
