Responsible for the planning and inventory management of varieties of steel

and packaging materials used to manufacture metal hose clamps. Work in

conjunction with Purchasing and Division Management to manage vendors to

ensure on time delivery of material, vendor managed inventory, and contract

compliance. Tasked with an annual goal of 10% inventory reduction of both

raw material and finished product as well as a $250,000 annual cost savings

goal.. Also responsible for scheduling of internally produced screws,

housings, and bands shipped to supply sister plants in Mexico and China, as

meet production schedules and maintaining proper inventory levels based on

current inventory, historical usage, and forecast demand. Identify and

Manage orders, shipping notices, receipts, and invoices via EDI. Bid and

Assess possibilities for line sequencing and kitting projects in order to

better present the production line with parts for use. Contribute to

supplier evaluations and compilation of Supplier Score Cards with Corporate

Purchasing. Have participated in Supplier Readiness Reviews, to evaluate

supplier competencies and determine if new corporate contract business

should be awarded. Assist Inventory Control Managers in the supervision of
