System Support Analyst Developer
Over the course of seven plus years within the company I moved rapidly
through the support to development. My beginning was on the support desk
working over the phone to assist customers with technical problems and
training issues. Shortly after starting, responsibilities changed from the
first line support to EDI, including but not limited to working with
customers on insurance billing requirements and claims corrections on the
current software. From there I worked closely with managers on training
support and developing procedures to enhance support within the company.
Advancing to the development area led to a liaison between support,
customers, development and management on current technical issues and new
developments. Performance included, as a level 3 analyst/developer,
accomplishing the goal of billing claims to various insurance companies
across several states. Responsibilities included gathering insurance
specifications for the specific states and interpreting those
specifications, analyzing data from current clients through SQL, assessing
customer data to determine development changes needed, assisting the
project leader in creating a timeline for development, testing, staff
training and implementation, training support on upcoming changes for
implementation, working on resolving any problems during the development,
with the project leaders, development and management, working on day to day
on new customer setups, support calls, management data analysis, script
writing and monitoring for claims transmissions and insurance resolutions.
