Responsible for planning and directing plant operations in the
manufacturing of hydraulic systems. Dura Power Systems is a
non-union, tier 2 supplier of OEM and after market products
to the convertible segment of the automotive industry.
Duties include planning, budgeting, staffing, training,
system development, and employee relations. Responsible for
ensuring that organizational goals are achieved.
Productivity, customer service, labor efficiency, scrap
reduction, parts per million, safety, QS 9000, and
continuous improvement are areas of focus. Oversees
Production Supervision, Quality Control, and Shipping and
Receiving in a single shift operation with 30 employees.
Highlights include lean manufacturing projects and new
product launch.
AMCO CONVERTIBLE FABRICS (DURA CORPORATION), Adrian, MI
Manufacturing Manager/Plant Superintendent 4/00 - 10/03
Responsible for total plant production of convertible tops for the
automotive industry. Ensures that aggressive organizational
goals are achieved in the areas of customer service, labor
efficiency, scrap reduction, parts per million, safety, QS
9000, and continuous improvement. Oversees 6 Production
Supervisors in a multi-shift, UAW represented cut, sew,
and heat-sealing operation. Highlights include new
program/product launches, employee development, plant
relocation, and consolidation.

a supplier of modular glass products to the automotive
